CBD Soft Drinks

Everybody loves a little change in flavor and especially when it not only satisfies your taste buds but also improves your health! CBD is one such widely famous ingredient that is being used from the skincare industry to the edible one, and consumers are buying them in heaps and bounds.

While most people prefer drinking alcohol as an alternative drink to regular smoothies and other drinks, some just want to sit back, relax and unwind. However, the downsides of overconsumption of alcohol are numerous – it can cause dizziness, make you nauseous, cause hallucinations and make you lose control of both your mental and physical state.

But there’s an alternative to alcohol now – CBD infused soft drinks!

In 2019, statistics showed that the number of CBD infused drinks being distributed on a daily basis has increased dramatically. These CBD infused drinks have become popular because they are THC-free, which means they do not have any psychoactive effects and hence, do not cause hallucinations.

CBD is also known to be medically beneficial in terms of both mental and physical health. It is known to reduce stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, inflammation, muscle spasms, injuries, etc. Many people have also found CBD to be a potent drug in alleviating the symptoms of life-threatening diseases such as cancer, epilepsy, Alzheimer’s, Tourette.

Although CBD has helped many people overcome their anxiety or chronic pain, make sure you buy CBD based products only from trusted and legit brands. Some of the best CBD drinks available in the market include-

Quench Taste With Mad Tasty

One of the best CBD-infused products in the market is Mad Tasty. It costs about $30/ pack for six drinks. You can buy these drinks either online or from brick and mortar stores in Los Angeles. It is nothing but sparkling water infused with CBD. It is available in two flavors- watermelon and grapefruit. Both the drinks have no added sugar and contain about 20 mg of CBD oil in each can.

Quench Taste With Vybes

Vybes is another amazing CBD infused drink. A pack contains 12 cans and it costs about $96. Vybes comes in five different flavors that consumers can relish. Each can contains about 25 mg of CBD oil. Although the taste is a bit similar to ice tea, it is far more relaxing and refreshing. Despite the high concentration of CBD, Vybes doesn’t taste like hemp at all.

Quench Taste With Recess

Recess comes in a pack of 8 priced at $39.99. This drink is readily available in high-end gyms and big grocery stores. There are currently three flavors in the market including Pom Hibiscus, Ginger and Blackberry Chai. It is made up of hemp and sparkling water. Unlike the other drinks, Recess contains only 10 mg of CBD oil per can.

These CBD infused drinks are currently the most famous drinks in the American market. If you are looking for an alternative to alcoholic beverages and want some relaxation, you can try out one of these drinks. Make sure you discuss with your nutritionist or doctor before you consume any CBD based product.

CBD & its Legalization

CBD has become wildly popular over the past few years. The market is flooded with CBD oil and its other products like gummies, isolate, tinctures, topical, cream, ointment, etc. Right from young children to elderly people, every age group seems to be using CBD for its claimed medicinal benefits

CBD is an anti-inflammatory and non-psychoactive chemical derived from the hemp plant, Cannabis Sativa plant. Hemp was legalized in December 2018 with the Farm Act by the federal government. The U.S. government removed hemp from the list of controlled substances which made hemp just like any other agricultural crop only with more stringent guidelines.

The federal government set a maximum limit of 0.3% THC dry weight per unit. THC or tetrahydro cannabinoid is the psychoactive chemical found in cannabis plants. It is responsible for causing “high” when people smoke weed or marijuana. It causes hallucinations and a euphoria-like feeling which often tends to create permanent mental health disorders like seizures, stress, insomnia, addiction, etc.

Now despite the federal government legalizing hemp and its derived products, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration hasn’t set any firm regulatory guidelines around hemp products. The agency has warned consumers that research is yet to be done about the long term effects of CBD and that they should buy products only from legitimate stores and brands.

This warning has stemmed out from companies selling illicit products with a higher concentration of THC that could lead to a positive drug test result.  Many companies are selling their CBD products with high medicinal claims and the FDA condemns any such acts. Recently, the agency issued warning letters to 15 companies for not abiding by the laws and marketing their products with medical claims that are not yet backed by research.

Before you invest in any CBD product, make sure it is from a legit store and does not contain THC.
