Vanessa Champion had been diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in her bowel when she was only 47. Initially, the tumor was not thought to be malignant but after an additional scan, the reports indicated her cancer.

Vanessa is no more, but her family has Cannabis oil to thank for extending her life to be able to meet her first grandchild!

She died after meeting her grandchild. Her cancer spread in the entire body but thanks to CBD oil, she was able to live a little more than she thought she would.

Mrs. Champion was informed that her cancer was deadly and incurable. The doctor then gave her 1g CBD capsules to be taken daily so that she could exist for a little while more and also could endure the pain. The doctor knew that she was expecting her grandchild and he is glad she was able to make it that long considering her condition.

Her wish before dying was to see her Grandson Oliver being born. She was also able to witness his first birthday. Vanessa is the mother of two children herself and hails from Kinmel Bay.

She also came to know in due course that her younger daughter Georgina was pregnant with a baby girl but sadly couldn’t live long enough to see her. She left for heavenly abode on August 4th. She died three days after she chose a name for the baby girl to be called Olivia.

Mrs. Vanessa was a florist and an office manager and was regularly taking CBD capsules to extend her life.

CBD is a part of the hemp plant that contains less than 0.3% THC. CBD is found in the upper plants of the plant. Marijuana also is extracted from the main Indian hemp plant called Cannabis Sativa. Marijuana has a large portion of THC contained in it mainly because it is found in the roots and interior parts of the plant. Marijuana comes under controlled substances under the law mainly because it gives a sense of euphoria when taken. Repeated use of the drug results in addiction which is very difficult to reverse.

Owing to the anti-inflammatory properties of CBD, the health industry has found a great reason to infuse CBD into various drugs that have resulted in the improvement of conditions. Recently FDA approved Epidiolex for a certain type of epilepsy. The patients who took the drug experienced fewer or no seizures. CBD oil has also been very effective in curing joint pains of Arthritis patients. Seeing how these drug works have also induced the Arthritis association to conduct more research.

The case of Vanessa also highlighted that CBD is also good for easing the severe conditions of Cancer. Vanessa’s husband Paul Champion remembered her as a chirpy person who was full of life. Her husband owns a tattoo parlor in Kinmel Bay.

He got emotional when he said that despite her condition she was always worried about the well-being of others. He is in his prime and misses his wife. He has people coming in and comforting her, but no one but he can understand what he is going through. His family has been his spinal cord and he is looking forward to meeting his first granddaughter in January. He also is confident that CBD oil kept Vanessa alive for two years after she was told how deadly her disease was.

Seeing her scan reports, it was difficult for her to survive. The initial reports did not show any signs of cancer. But, they also had to take another scan to be sure. But, with the reports of the second scan, their hopes faded away because by then cancer had set deep in her system affecting every part of her internal body.

The family also did not expect her to survive for so long. She was elated when she heard that her grandson is coming. She wanted to live long enough to see him and it happened. The doctor knew that with CBD she would somehow survive till that point but never expected her to spend another 13 months with him.

Sadly she couldn’t meet her granddaughter but her husband is enthusiastic and excited to welcome his first granddaughter soon.

The story of Vanessa is emotional but also enlightens a lot of hope when it comes to CBD. The wonder element surely needs a lot of research back-up but in the coming time, it is sure to make a mark in the medical industry in a much bigger way.
